Unive sities that accept studies without YOS in Turkey

 

Some universities in Turkey accept students by taking into account the diploma scores of successful students in the YÖS exam . The YÖS degree is a priority for these universities and vacancies are completed by consideration of the matriculation certificate.

What is ios YÖS ?

 

YÖS exam , which is called the foreign student test and consists of initials , is a selection and placement test that foreign students who want to study in public universities in Turkey can pass. 1. Who are Turkish citizens and have completed their secondary education in Turkey
2. Dual nationals who graduated from high school in Turkey
3. Turkish citizens who graduated from a foreign high school provide education in Turkey

 

 

Application dates

 

Applications for students admitted as foreign nationals start from January and run until September each year. According to the information obtained by İzmir YÖS , there may be changes in the dates that universities set for foreign students.

For foreign students , studying in foundation universities in Turkey is an option without an exam.

In institutions of higher education, it is possible to continue education at different levels ( undergraduate, associate degree and postgraduate) in the formal education system, distance education and open education programs at the same time, but it is not possible to continue education in two official associate degrees or two official degrees i.e. undergraduate programs At the same time.

 

Students enrolled in formal/distance higher education programs and graduates of these programs

Students who have graduated or are studying in an associate degree program at any institution of higher education can register by applying directly to Anadolu University without taking an exam and without canceling formal/distance education registrations , provided that they are studying in one of the associate degree programs of the Open Education College that provides education According to the open education system , or it is not in the fields from which they graduated.
6. Students or graduates of formal education who are registered in open education programs under the above conditions cannot transfer courses from formal education to open education .
7. Candidates who have been placed in any formal educational program may enroll in an open education program other than their field of specialization in the same academic year, by complying with the above conditions.
8. Students studying at the TRNC universities , which are included in ÖSYM ’s higher education programs and class guide , also benefit from the above opportunities.
9. Those who have been dismissed from a higher education program prior to graduating from a higher education program, who are not enrolled in any formal higher education program or who are studying in open education programs cannot take advantage of the above opportunities.

The records of candidates who have been placed in one of the formal education programs other than the field in which they were studying in any of the open education programs are not deleted.

1. Those studying in a formal higher education program or who have graduated from such programs, and who enroll in the open education program, benefit from all student services in open education, with the exception of military service.

Students who cancel their enrollment in formal education after enrolling in open education programs benefit from all student services, including military service, provided this situation is documented.

1. Those who hold Turkish citizenship and have graduated from higher education institutions abroad and who have obtained an equivalent certificate from the Higher Education Council can apply.

University for Syrian refugees without exams in Turkey

 

University gates have been opened in Turkey for Syrian refugees.
