SAT exam:

The SAT test or exam is an American standard exam that qualifies for admission to the undergraduate undergraduate level in a large number of universities around the world, that is, it is an international admission test.

The SAT test is supervised by the American College Board , and it is uniform in all countries and in English.

What is the purpose of this test?

The purpose of the SAT test request is to determine the student's ability to apply the information he has in solving the problems presented to him in this test.

The ASAT test depends on passing tests in reading, writing and mathematics in English, and most of the information the student has acquired in the secondary and preparatory stages.

The SAT test is divided into two tests:

  • SAT1 Test : SAT1 is required in Turkish universities
  • SAT2 Test : It is considered an advanced test that is required for certain disciplines, and it has not been mentioned by any Turkish university so far.

How can I prepare for the SAT test, and are there books to study?

To prepare for the SAT test , the duration should range from 4 to 7 months. There are preparatory courses for the test in specialized institutes and books used by students in these courses.

SAT Study Sections :

The English language is the basis when studying the SAT curricula, and to pass the test, you must have a good knowledge of the English language

There are 4 sections for the SAT test : 3 of them are compulsory, which are reading, writing and mathematics, and one section is optional, which is the article section.

  1. English reading and grammar section:

This test depends on the ability to read long texts in English and answer a set of questions related to them:

It is also a vocabulary test questions in the humanities, social sciences and literary novels, and these vocabulary are relatively difficult and need preparations to pass this test.

The duration of the SAT reading test is 65 minutes and the number of questions is about 52 questions. You will find many books that deal with lists of the most common vocabulary in this test, about 3500 words.

  1. Department of Writing and Language in English:

It depends on reading short texts and answering multiple-choice and grammar questions in the English language

The duration of the test is 35 minutes and the number of questions is 44

  1. Mathematics department :

It is a section that depends on the mathematical information that was studied in the secondary stage, and you will find many questions about statistics, algebra and geometry.

The duration of the SAT math test is 80 minutes, and the number of questions is 58.

This section is optional, and when selected, the student is required to be able to write a literary essay for any topic raised by the test administration.

There are 6 dates for the SAT exams taking place each year. The test fee is about 40 US dollars, and the essay test is 14 US dollars. There are additional fees such as late registration fees, preparing for the test and the result over the phone.

How to register for the SAT exam:

  • The copy of the test card must match the photo of the identity card and the candidate's appearance at the time of the test.
